Gold Nugget Days 2019

Gold Nugget Days 2019 discussions have begun and your input and particpation are greatly needed. Our community is hurting, that's for sure, but we're forging ahead in the hope that we all want our events back!

We know that Gold Nugget Days 2019 will look different, but how? With our community reeling from the devastation from our recent fire, and our residents scattered throughout the state and beyond, the Gold Nugget Days, Inc. Board of Directors is pulling together to provide a reunification at the Paradise Community Park. Before we request assistance from the Town of Paradise we need to ask these hard questions: Will there be a parade? Will people come? Will the last full weekend in April be too early? If you're one of the many organizations that we hope may wish to participate, please let us know by emailing us at office@goldnuggetmuseum.com. The Board of Directors needs your input and will make these important decisions based on your feedback.

As many of you already know, the Depot has been considered "a perfect location" from which to conduct museum operations until the Gold Nugget Museum can be rebuilt. We are under no illusion that this will be quick and/or easy, and are talking with Town Manager Lauren Gill to make this a reality. Operations are scheduled to begin at the end of February or the beginning of March, 2019. The Depot was relatively unscathed by the fire and is cleared for reopening. We welcome your support and are looking to the Town of Paradise to reestablish its lease with us. If you support this idea and have a few moments, please forward your support to lgill@townofparadise.com expressing your approval. In these trying times, we can use all the support we can get.
